Dedicated to the effective practice of real estate law, business litigation and appellate advocacy for over 20 years
Linda T. Barney, Attorney at Law is your resource for legal advice and representation in the California trial and appellate courts, arbitrations and mediation of your civil disputes in Los Angeles county and southern California appellate courts.
My practice in Glendale has been dedicated to real estate law, business litigation and appellate advocacy for over 20 years. I have tried, arbitrated and settled cases arising from claims of fraud, breach of contract, partnership disputes, neighbor disputes (including nuisance, boundary, encroachment and easement issues), collections, professional negligence (attorney or real estate malpractice), consumer vs. building contractor cases, joint real property ownership and title problems, condominium association enforcement actions and commercial landlord-tenant matters. As an experienced appellate advocate I handle both civil and family law cases. I am also equipped to review or draft leases, purchase and sale agreements, and loan documents.
My reputation as an assertive advocate for my clients and my substantial trial experience in hotly litigated matters is well-known in the Glendale, Burbank and Pasadena communities. However, litigation is expensive, time-consuming and sometimes risky. I take special pride in helping my clients try to find practical, creative and affordable solutions to their legal problems, and to provide each client an honest evaluation of the case at every stage of the process.
As a former president of the Glendale Bar Association, volunteer arbitrator, judge pro tem, mediator and settlement officer for the Los Angeles Superior Courts and the Los Angeles and Glendale Bar Associations, I have developed the necessary skill and insight that can maximize my clients' opportunities to achieve their goals in both negotiation and trial advocacy.
